How does a book
recommendation differ from a review?
Reviewed books are ones I’ve personally read and can offer opinions
about. Recommendations are books I have
come across or are submitted by authors that I have not read but may intend to.
What is your rating
system?
I go by the five-star system when posting my reviews on
Goodreads or Amazon; however, don’t include those in this blog so as not to
brand books with a number. That said,
any book reviewed here are ones I would endorse to new readers and quantify my
opinion with:
- Status updates that do not spoil the plot-points of the book but offer sincere reactions throughout the progress of it.
- The review itself (also posted on Amazon or Goodreads) that also avoids spoilers and focuses more on the style of writing, characterization and potential appeal to readers.
Haha, small world! I was just submitting my review requests to different blogs and came across yours. I don't know if you remember, but we talked on Fringe Fiction just a couple days ago xD
