A lot of books have trouble building word-of-mouth. Fortunately, I have a big one.
Libra Obscura is a blog dedicated to giving obscure books
the opportunity to be discovered by readers who might be unaware they even
exist. I’m an advocate of authors flying
under the radar in general readership and love endorsing good books to people
who might never have heard of them otherwise.
Not every book is a bestseller; however, there are plenty that deserve a
spot in the limelight, if not fifteen minutes of fame.
Most of the novels listed Libra Obscura are self-published works
or belong to small press publishing houses that are still searching for an
audience and/or building a following. As
such, some of the books listed in this blog will likely have few reviews to their
credit but that may be more a comment on their visibility in publishing than
the quality of writing. Featured along
with recommendations and reviews are author interviews, discussions and other relevant
topics.
For those who support independent authors and love underrated
books, welcome to Libra Obscura and I hope you find something good to read.
